Global Poker's Kurt Busch Signature Series

NASCAR driver Kurt Busch and online poker room GlobalPoker.com have teamed up for the Global Poker Kurt Busch Signature Series.

Global Poker Introduces the Kurt Busch Signature Series

Global Poker is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable brands in the U.S. landscape for online poker rooms. While the operator had to be imaginative when it comes to how it caters to U.S. gamers, its desire to be seen as a credible operator hasn’t subsided.

The latest initiative by Global Poker features NASCAR pilot Kurt Busch who has inspired a special Kurt Busch Signature Series hosted by the website to back the driver and offer players a chance to win something extra. All interested parties have time to prepare for the showdown as the first event is taking place on Friday, June 28, at 2 pm ET.

Buy-ins begin at SC$11 and players willing to sign up for the Busch Series can also expect a SC$2,500 turbo event. Another SC$3,000 turbo event starts on Saturday, and Sunday will wrap up the action with two additional events.

The first will be a simple SC$22 buy-in for the same SC$3,000 price as on Saturday, but the second event will really ante things up with a GC11,000 buy-in and GC1 million in guaranteed prize pool.

More from Global Poker during the Busch Series

The website will also make sure to introduce additional incentives to its player base, including one-off prizes, more $weeps cash to go around i a player is within the first nine top-finishers, and even motorsports memorabilia. Meanwhile, you can make sure not to miss any of the events by referring to the schedule:

  • SC$2,500 Guaranteed – Buy-in: SC$11 – Friday
  • SC$3,000 Guaranteed – Buy-in: SC$11 – Saturday
  • SC$3,000 Guaranteed – Buy-in: SC$11 – Sunday
  • GC2 million – Buy-in: GC22,000

Meanwhile, Global Poker has been working hard to introduce innovative gaming options for its customers, one of which includes the Jackpot Sit and Go’s. The format arrived on GlobalPoker.com in February, giving players a great chance to boost their funds.

As of June, 2019, Global Poker has already dished out SC$15 million in SNG’s. The innovative approach to online gaming allows GP to operate and accept users from the United States, even though the exact legal status of the company isn’t clarified by individual states in the U.S. While GP accepts international players, the majority of players are all U.S. nationals or residents in the country.

Global Poker is unlike other card rooms presently operating without a gambling license from a U.S. state. Since UIEGA was adopted in 2006, the United States has been all against online poker, bar in the states which have managed to create favorable conditions, allowing the activity to take place. Those include New Jersey, Nevada, Delaware, and most recently Pennsylvania.

Players from other states, however, are forced to seek alternative solutions. Global Poker has branded itself as a credible gaming venue and the addition of famous individuals from the world of poker and sports is an attempt to consolidate this credibility and trustworthiness GP is now actively promoting.
