Grosvenor Prepares for Upcoming GCOOP III Festival

Grosvenor Championships of Online Poker (GCOOP) III

Grosvenor, one of the popular poker brands out there, is applying final touches to the upcoming GCOOP IIII Festival.

The Grosvenor Casino has established its cardrooms long ago, and today the operator is one of the preeminent venues to play the game owing to a mix of reputation and innovation. The GCOOP III: Poker Tournament Series 2018 promise to be held in this same tradition, and they are an excellent way for poker professionals or aspiring players to have a go at a solid prize pool of £120,000, and more.

With 22 scheduled events, the online affair will quickly turn into a heated poker action. Grosvenor has done well in accommodating the majority of players, too, with the buy-ins ranging between £1 and £550. The prize pools for the individual event seem rather modest, with up to £25,000 per event for grabs.

However, Grosvenor expects a fair bit of interest in the event, which will hopefully lead to a final pool earmarked for rewards that outstrip the initial forecasts. Players from both the United States and the United Kingdom will be able to participate by dropping in on the race between November 25 and December 2.

The events will be held at specific hours, allowing players to attend without having to sacrifice other aspects of their everyday lives, with the events running from 6:00 PM through 9:00 PM every day.

A variety of modes will be available, including 6-max tables, re-buy tournaments, and even freezeouts. For those looking to notch up points across the entire festival, the bounty hunting challenges may be of interest.

If you feel like participating outright is too dear a price to pay, then you can opt for the satellites which begin at £0.25 and upward. The priciest tournament on the list is the Super High Roller £530 competition on December 2.

If you are particularly interested in chasing after the big money, then another high-roller opportunity beckons, with the High Roller PLO 6-Max taking place on December 1, with an accommodating buy-in worth £225.

One of the specific treats that the hosts offer participants is the so-called GUKPT Passport, a promo bundle that can be used at other tournaments. Apart from the £120,000 in ready cash, anyone who procures the passport will also be entitled into every 2019 GUKPT Main Event, which means that participants will have an outstanding opportunity to build a considerable bankroll next roll.

Grosvenor also includes accommodation as part of its passport to further help travelling poker pros offset any out-of-pocket expenses they may incur. Apart from that, a small sum to the tune of £150 will be deposited in the passport holder’s account so that they can join any event or combination of multiple events.

Meanwhile, Grosvenor is serious about bringing forth an inclusive experience. You stand to benefit from the freerolls which are events that will run from November 18 through November 24 (shortly after Partypoker wraps up the Caribbean Festival) and provide potential participants with even more opportunities to plunge into the gaming action by winning a ticket.

More information and the complete schedule can be found at the Grosvenor website.
